Sriayuthaya Lion Park, Ayutthaya

It is a recommended place for those who like to visit the zoo, enjoy activities with people, or visit the zoo alone. It is only an hour away from Bangkok. Sri Ayudhya Lion Park has many activities such as riding on a horse carriage, taking photos, feeding animals, and being close to various animals like giraffes, capibara, rabbits, goats, tigers, lions, and elephants.  There are many kinds of birds and many other animals waiting to welcome us. For admission, the ticket will be 150 baht for adults and 50 baht for children.

The zoo is spacious with an outdoor area that will hold a show of elephants, lions, and crocodiles. No need to be afraid of whether you will miss the show or not because the zoo has many rounds of shows to serve. You can ask the staff at the fair. If you drive to the zoo, the parking lot is provided. Make sure to prepare umbrellas when walking in the open air to prevent sun hazards.

Khun Chang Khian, Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai is a pleasant province to visit at the end of the year. Khun Chang Kian is a place where you can see Sakura in Thailand. It is a research station and training center. If you visit in the winter. We will see blooming pink and white Wild Himalayan Cherry all over the area. It looks like a bouquet of pink flowers from December to March. If you visit the place in other months,  Wild Himalayan Cherry may not be as blooming as it is in the cold. If you go, try tasting a drip coffee that has passed the process of producing the beans. The coffee here has a unique and fragrant flavor and a variety of different types of coffee to try different flavors. Coffee lovers must not miss this place.

There are guest houses but must be contacted and booked a month in advance. It is open only during the blooming of Wild Himalayan Cherry. there is no tent area for tourists. If tourists wish to pitch a tent, they must visit Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. They can reserve a tent 60 days in advance before their stay. There is also a homestay located near Khun Chang Khian to relax and experience the lifestyle of the hill tribes as well. The homestay is located in Mhong Village Khun Chang Khian and Mhong Village Doi Pui.

Lungveat Garden, Trang

It’s a flower garden in Trang that does not open for a long period. In winter like this, if you want to find a place to take a picture, Lungvet Garden is highly recommended because each flowering season is always changing. If you’re not sure, you can ask the staff before you travel. For those who love taking pictures of flowers and nature, you have to experience the blooming flower garden. Each flower zone is decorated with bright and beautifully colored.  Inside Lungvet Garden, Himaphan Waterfalls is nicely decorated. Although the garden is in the south of Thailand, the garden is built as if it is in the north. Some restaurants and cafes offer drinks, coffee, and snacks. There are indoor seating zones in the air-conditioned and outdoor rooms, where the wind and beautiful flower fields can be seen.

Lungwet Garden has an admission fee of 50 baht for adults and 20 baht for children. There is a parking lot provided. It is recommended to take good pictures in the morning and evening because the weather is good. If you come during the day, it may be hot.

Khao Kho, Phetchabun

Khao Kho has always been a highly recommended tourist attraction in the late winter rain. The weather is cold, the breeze is refreshing with the beauty of both natural and tourist attractions. Some places may be open only for a short time. You can check the information before you go to Khao Kho. There are various attractions such as Wat Prathat Phasornkaew, located in the middle of a high mountain, with Phra That Pha Kaew chedi, decorated with different colored tiles and exotic color stones.  To get a view of Wat Prathat Phasornkaew, you can sit at Pino Latte, a cafe on the high mountain across from the temple. You can see Wat Prathat Phasornkaew and still see the mist and sunrise at dawn. There are many other cafes to choose from.

An additional recommended viewing point is Post Office Viewpoint, where you can see a lot of fog in early winter. If the sky is clear, you can see a white sea of fog with winter flowers. Take a look at the sunrise and a 360-degree sea of fog. You can see Khao Pu – Khao Ya

which has a shape like Mt. Fuji. Another popular tourist attraction is Phu Thap Boek.  You can see the 360-degree sea of fog, close to nature as if you are amid a cold mist. It is also a campsite and accommodation. Wake up with cool air on the top of the mountain with a sea of fog.

MU KO SURIN, Pangnga

It is a beautiful archipelago and has Surin Islands National Park. Travelers can dive to see coral. Surin Island is not the only archipelago because there are 5 islands, North Surin Island, South Surin Island, Ri Island, Khai Island, and Central Island. Each island has a different beauty and charm. The thing that all islands have in common is that tourists can dive into the beauty of the sea while learning the lifestyle of the Morgan community. Normally, the tour is open from October 15 to May 15 every year. This is because the Andaman Sea has calm winds, and clear waters, suitable for diving, coral reefs, and water activities.

The holiday season will be monsoon season, the sea is murky and has strong waves, making it not suitable for marine tourism. The park will be closed during this period to restore nature. The entrance fee will be 100 baht for adults and 50 baht for children. In the park, there will be accommodations for tourists such as tents and accommodations, as well as food and other activities like long-tailed boats to see coral reefs and diving equipment. The park’s homes and offices are in Chong Khat Bay, and tents are set up in  ‪Mai Ngam Bay.
