To avoid penalties and interest, be sure to check the tax filing schedule!

2025 Tax Filing Schedule:

  • Paper filings: until March 31, 2025
  • Online filings via e-Filing or MyTax: until April 8, 2025 (this gives you more time than paper filing)
  • Filing taxes online makes life easier because you don’t have to travel to the tax office. All you need is an internet connection, and you can file from anywhere.

How to File Taxes Online?

If you want to file taxes online, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Revenue Department’s website (www.rd.go.th)
  2. Select “Digital MyTax (One Portal)”
  3. Log in with your RD ID or through the Thai/Paotang application
  4. Check your income and deductions (if any)
  5. Choose to file either P.N.D. 90 or P.N.D. 91
  6. Review the summary from the e-Filing system
  7. Check the result to see if you owe additional taxes or if you’ll get a refund
  8. Confirm your tax filing and make any payments (if applicable) The system will automatically pull in your income information—double-check it, and you can file right away. If you’re getting a refund, you can relax and wait for it.

Who Needs to File Taxes?

If you earned the following in 2024, you’re required to file taxes:

  • Salaried employees: If your salary exceeds 120,000 Baht/year (single) or 220,000 Baht/year (married)
  • Freelancers / Business owners / Online sellers: If your income exceeds 60,000 Baht/year
  • Riders / YouTubers / Influencers: If you earn income from social media or online platforms
  • Partnerships or corporations: If you have taxable income

Even if you may not owe taxes, filing is important. It helps build a good tax history, which can be useful for loan applications, visa requests, and more.

What Happens If You File Taxes Late?

If you miss the tax filing deadline, you may face penalties and interest:

  • Late tax filing can result in a fine of up to 2,000 THB.
  • If you pay taxes late, an additional 1.5% per month will be added to the tax amount due.
  • If you file an additional tax return after the deadline and owe more taxes, you will be charged an additional 1.5% per month, but there will be no fine.

Don’t wait until the last minute—file your taxes on time to avoid penalties and take advantage of future benefits!
