What is ‘Qingming festival’ and why do we have to pay respect to ancestors in summer?
Qingming Festival (清明节) is one of the most important customs in China and for Thai of Chinese origin as well. This year, the Qingming festival falls on Friday April 5, 2024. Mostly, the date of the Qingming Day often falls on 4 – 5 April every year. This is the festival in which Chinese people will pay respect to their ancestors.
