6 Kidney-Nourishing Food

Although one of the factors causing kidney disease is eating salty food, eating without adding salt or fish sauce to your food does not mean that you will not get kidney disease. Kidney disease is not caused by eating salty food only, there are more causes such as your daily life, genetics, and chronic disease can cause you to get kidney disease as well.

Foods that help us stay away from kidney disease should be considered in three principles: low sodium, low potassium, and low phosphorus because if we overeat these nutrients, it may leave the kidney with an increased burden on the kidneys to work hard or accelerate kidney deterioration.

Therefore, we should eat food that contributes to the maintenance of the kidneys. Dietary control is considered the key to slowing the progression of chronic kidney failure. Without proper dieting, kidney disease patients’ health deteriorates faster because their kidneys have to work harder and remove less waste from their bodies, resulting in swelling, shock, unconsciousness, and other complications, resulting in more severe symptoms.
