You don’t have to travel all the way to Taiwan to enjoy the ambiance—taste it right here at ING Teahouse, Thailand’s first Taiwanese Peanut Ice Cream Roll and Taiwanese street food spot. Located by the Ong Ang Canal, ING Teahouse has recently welcomed actors Lee Junho from 2 PM and Yoona from Girls’ Generation, who sampled the delicious Taiwanese Peanut Ice Cream Roll. For fans following in the footsteps of the series, this is a must-visit!

The story of ING Teahouse began with the owner’s passion for Taiwan’s night market street food. This love for authentic flavors inspired the owner, Ing, to bring these street food recipes to Thailand, adapting them to suit local tastes. The cafe is decorated to evoke the atmosphere of Taiwan, with rows of red lanterns reminiscent of Jiufen, the old village famously depicted in the animated film Spirited Away by Studio Ghibli.

As mentioned, ING Teahouse offers a variety of Taiwanese street food, from savory and sweet dishes to a range of tea beverages. Today, we’ll introduce three exclusive menu items that you definitely shouldn’t miss. Let’s start with the first must-try dish:

  • Taiwanese Peanut Ice Cream Roll with Cilantro: Authentic Taiwanese flavor 100%. The creamy, smooth taro ice cream is paired with peanut and cilantro, and wrapped in a chewy dough resembling a spring roll. An incredibly perfect combination of flavors.
  • Fried Xiao Long Bao (Mini Size): Choose from two savory fillings: juicy red pork with a sweet sauce and aromatic three-spice blend, or rich salted egg lava with a gooey, overflowing center.
  • Taiwanese Milk Tea: The authentic original, made with tea leaves imported from Taichung, the birthplace of bubble tea. Mixed with the traditional shaking technique, it includes chewy konjac pearls. Refreshing and satisfying, it’s sure to please.

For those wanting to try other Taiwanese dishes at ING Teahouse, it also offers coffee, Taiwanese scallion pancakes, and imported Taiwanese snacks. Additionally, if you pay using the ACU PAY E-Wallet app for the first time, you’ll receive a special promotion: buy one drink, get one free. Terms and conditions apply as set by the restaurant.
