This grand event, organized by the Thai government and TAT (Tourism Authority of Thailand), celebrates Songkran being officially recognized by UNESCO as an “Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.”
Expect 5 full days of non-stop festivities from April 11–15, featuring traditional Thai ceremonies like merit-making, Buddha image bathing, and a spectacular five-region parade.

If you’re into city vibes, head to Siam Square for “Amazing Siam Songkran: Pha Khao Ma Splash Party,” with moving stages, water fights, a giant slider, a water tunnel, cultural rituals, and tons of food from 30+ popular vendors.
Other hot spots like CentralWorld, Samyan Mitrtown, and ICONSIAM are also hosting full-scale Songkran events — concerts, shows, and epic water zones included.
For EDM lovers, don’t miss the S2O Songkran Music Festival 2025 at Rajamangala Stadium from April 12–14. This internationally acclaimed water and music fest is now going global with events in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and New York. Get ready for three days of non-stop beats and splashes!
If you prefer street vibes and epic water battles, Khao San Road and Silom Road remain top choices. Silom will also feature a special Amazing Bangkok Songkran Parade 2025, promoting Thai tourism and culture.
