ACU Pay (Thailand) Co., Ltd. attended the launch of the Ignite Finance project to transform Thailand into a global financial center

ACU Pay (Thailand) Co., Ltd. participated in the press conference to launch the Financial Hub under the theme “Ignite Finance: Thailand’s Vision for a Global Financial Hub” to elevate Thailand to be a global financial hub. The event was held at the Ministry of Finance and was honored by Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin as the Chairman, together with Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Pichai Choonhwachira, and Deputy Finance Minister Phaopoom Rojanasakul, at Golden Kampan Room, 21st Floor, 150 Years Building, Ministry of Finance, on July 19, 2024.

“Ignite Finance” is a significant step forward in transforming Thailand into a global financial hub with a shared vision and commitment of government and financial industry leaders. The project aims to create an ecosystem where global entrepreneurs, startups, and people with ideas are gathered to create innovative financial and technological innovations under a regulatory framework that is ready to support future changes, while also taking into account the stability of the country’s financial system to open the way for Thailand to become a global financial hub.

In closing, the Prime Minister expressed his strategic plan to shift Thailand’s dependence on production to a high-value service-driven economy by building Thailand as a global financial hub, sparking a future of prosperity, innovation, and financial leadership. This is aimed at strengthening the Thai economy and improving the quality of life of all Thai people at the same time.
