What will happen if “Trump” wins the 2024 U.S. Election

Over time, you would have seen some news of the election from the United States, a city of freedom, on social media or through live streaming on television. There are two major political parties: Democrats with Joe Biden as a candidate, and Republicans with Donald Trump as a candidate.

However, on July 14, an incident occurred during Donald Trump’s campaign speech in Butler, Pennsylvania. Two people were reported dead, one was the audience who attended the speech, and the other was the shooter who shot Trump and was killed by security. Trump himself injured a right ear as well.

As a result of the assassination, the people who support Trump’s party and policies are on alert, including the neutral have turned to support Trump quite a lot since he is considered to have a “strong” image after being shot but survived. Many analysts see it as positive for Trump and could make him win this election.

After facing heavy pressure from within the party and supporters, the current president, Joe Biden, has surrendered and announced his withdrawal from the U.S. presidential candidate from the Democrat Party. In addition to announcing his withdrawal from the party representative, he also encouraged his vice president, Kamala Harris, to replace the Democratic Party representative, but it is also close in terms of the overall poll score.

What is likely to happen if Trump wins the U.S. presidential election?

The first thing he would do and pledge is ‘to end the war within 24 hours’ after his presidency. The remarks raised concerns over the consequences of whether he might pressure Ukraine to give up its territory to Russia because he did not elaborate on how the plan was detailed. Meanwhile, the PEW Research Center found that 49% of respondents from the Republican Party said the central government spent too much money on Ukraine, while the Democrat Party only had 17%.

Another important economic policy of Trump is to increase import tariffs on all kinds of goods by 10 percent because Trump sees all countries in the world, not only China, as a trade rival of the US due to the exports of cheap goods to the US and causes the US to run a trade deficit. In 2023, the US recorded a trade deficit of 773 billion US dollars or around 28 trillion bahts.

The number of people crossing the U.S.-Mexico border has skyrocketed so much that the immigration problem has become a major issue for both political parties. In the early days of Trump’s presidency, he said he had an aggressive immigrant-accepting policy and would tighten his policy if he got the President position and resumed ‘the biggest exile in the US history.

Trump’s campaign website said he would withdraw from the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, promising to ‘dig up’ oil and pledge energy at a cheaper price, while the Democrat Party’s focus on environmental conservation and weather to the point of being recognized as the most eco-friendly political party in the United States.  That makes the environment, or even the former Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, say that Trump’s victory will be a “nightmare” for the U.S. climate, so it’s no surprise that the environmental development plan between the two parties will have such extreme resolutions and polar-different incentives. We will have to keep up with the outcome of the election.
