It can be found in cats as well. The disease is caused by the FIV virus in the retrovirus group which results in a low immunity problem. The first stage will show no symptoms until after a while the symptoms will show in the respiratory system and the urine system. The mouth will have a large lump or lymph node, which if left for a long time, cats may not survive.
