5 beverages to cool you off with an easy recipe that you can do at home!

We would rather stay at home instead of going outside in summer because we can imagine our skin burning just by looking at the sunlight. We sometimes sweat even though we are just lying down still. Also, turning on AC all day will result in high electricity bills. It will be great to have some beverage to drink during a hot day to cool ourselves down. Today, ACU will recommend 5 beverages that you can do at home.

Yakult Pipo

Ingredients

  • 2-3 bottle of Yakult
  • 4 Pipoes
  • A cup of ice
  • a half of lime 

How to do it

  1. Put ice, Yakult, and syrup into the blender and blend all ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Add a little lime juice to add flavor followed by Pipo and blend again for about 5 seconds so that Pipo is not blended too finely.

Avocado Smoothies

Ingredients

  • 2 avocados
  • 3 tbsp of sweetened condensed milk
  • ⅓ cup of milk
  • 1 tbsp + ½ tbsp of syrup
  • A cup of ice

How to do it

  1. Put ice in the blender followed by avocado, sweetened condensed milk, fresh milk, and syrup. Blend until the avocado is finely blended.
  2. Pour it in a glass and then serve

Fruit ice

Ingredients

  • Ice mold block
  • Fruits as preference such as strawberries, kiwis, apples or blueberries
  • Juice
  • Lime Juice
  • Sprite, Sour Juice or Herb Juice
  • mint leaves

How to do it

  1. Put the prepared fruits in the ice mold block
  2. Fill the mold block with water (plain water or juice is fine) then put the ice block in the freezer
  3. Put the ice in the juice, herb juice or soft drink as preference
  4. Add lime juice or mint leaves to add more freshness 

Watermelon Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 400 g. of watermelon
  • 2 tbsp of lemon juice
  • A piece of watermelon (for decoration)

How to do it

  1. Put the watermelon in the juice blender and blend thoroughly.
  2. Then, filter watermelon juice with a sieve
  3. Put in the freezer for about 2 hours or until the watermelon juice gets extremely cool.
  4. Add lemon juice, stir it and decorate with a piece of watermelon.

Yogurt Honey Lemon Smoothies

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of plain yogurt
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 2 tsp of lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp of honey
  • 7-8 leaves of mint
  • 1 + ½ cup of ice
  • mint leaves (for decoration)
  • Sliced lime (for decoration)

How to do it

  1. Blend all ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Pour it in a glass and decorate it with mint leaves and sliced lime.
