1. Australia

The minimum wage per day is 2,496 baht which is about 74,880 baht per month. The cost of living and other necessary expenses are

  • Internet charge: The average price is 1,300 baht. Even though it seems to be expensive, one-day work can afford it. 
  • Fuel cost: The cost of Fuel in Australia is quite expensive such as gasoline is 65 baht per liter. However, it is considered to be cheap if you compare the salary and the fuel cost in percentage.  
  • Transportation cost: It is for those who do not have a car and need to travel by public transport. The transportation cost in Australia is around 80-250 baht including every kind of bus and electric train. 

2. USA

The minimum wage per day is 1,430 baht which is about 42,880 baht per month. The cost of living and other necessary expenses are

  • Internet charge: It is 1,025 baht per month. It seems expensive according to the comparison of salary with internet cost.  
  • Fuel cost: The cost of fuel is similar to Thai fuel cost. If you want to fill your oil tank full, you need to work for 1 day and 3 hours.
  • Transportation cost: The average cost of a chartered bus is 94.5 baht per 1 round. The subway cost is 127 baht per round.

3. Switzerland

The minimum wage per day is 2,590 baht which is about 77,700 baht per month. The cost of living and other necessary expenses are

  • Internet charge: It is 1,025 baht per month which is cheap according to the earned income.
  • Fuel cost: The cost of fuel per 1 full tank is 3,195 baht or 71 baht per liter . If you want to fill your oil tank full, you need to work for 1 day and 2 hours.
  • Transportation cost: The starting price is around 96-610 baht per round. It can be considered as the most expensive transportation cost.

4.Thailand

The minimum wage per day is 300 baht which is about 10,000 baht per month. The cost of living and other necessary expenses are

  • Internet charge: It is 399 baht per month. You need to work for 1 day and 1 hour in order to afford the internet to use for the rest of the month.
  • Fuel cost: It is around 45-50 baht. The price to fill a 45-liter tank full is about 2,250 baht which means you need to work for 6 days and 7 hours so that you can afford the fuel cost.
  • Transportation cost: The bus fare starts at 8 baht per 1 round but the fare of the electric train is about 14-50 baht.
