Let me tell you, Kanchanaburi is not only famous for nature but also has an open zoo where we can get up close to animals at Safari Park Open Zoo & Camp, Kanchanaburi. There is a tiger zone, lion zone, zebra zone, and giraffe zone, and we can feed giraffes when they stick their heads in the bus. We can take pictures with them. That is so exciting and fun! There are also private giraffe tours that offer private buses. As an open zoo, they let all the animals live in nature. To take a tour, we have to take the minibus inside. The normal ticket for adults is 200 baht and for children is 100 baht. And there is also a private ticket for anyone who wants to get closer to an animal. These special tickets cost 1,000 baht per person per half an hour.
Don’t forget to buy food for the animals before getting on the bus. 1 set will have 4 buckets of carrots and cost 100 baht. We recommend buying a full set if you want to feed many of them.

Safari Park Open Zoo & Camp is located in Bo Phloi district, about 40 km away from the city. They are open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Don’t forget to visit and take photos!

Private tours taking close-up photos of giraffes require reservations on Facebook Messenger. Phone calls are not accepted. The additional cost is 1,000 baht per person (including 1 tray of food). The first round starts at 9:00 am and lasts for 30 minutes. After the tour, you can take a bus to continue the tour.
