Reese Witherspoon, an actress and producer, created a clothing fashion brand called Draper James in 2015. The brand was named after her grandparents; Dorothea Draper and William James Witherspoon. Draper James is a classic fashion clothing brand with both women’s clothes and shoes that have been collaborated with various brands.

In September 2023, Consortium Brand Partners acquired a 70% stake in the company for an undisclosed amount of money. Witherspoon will stay with the brand and join the Consortium’s board of directors instead.

Jennifer Lopez | Skincare products and Cosmetics business: JLo Beauty

JLo Beauty is a skincare brand from Jennifer Lopez, a famous 54-year-old singer and actress. JLo Beauty was launched in 2021 to unlock the secrets of skin shine for all ages. Key products include moisturizers, skin cleansers, masks, eye creams, serums, and food supplements that contain essential Squalane, fermented oil, pure olive oil, and natural extracts.

JLo Beauty is available at more than 26 Macy’s, priced between 15 dollars to 105 dollars.

Drew Barrymore | Cosmetics business: FLOWER Beauty

FLOWER Beauty is a cosmetics brand from 90s actress and talk show host of The Drew Barrymore Show. When she was 19, Drew Barrymore founded a production company with a business partner before expanding to a Cruelty-Free cosmetics brand without animal testing. The goal is to create a high-quality cosmetic product that people can reach for their loved ones in makeup. 

In 2018, it was reported that Flower Beauty, a cosmetics group sold in CVS, Kroger, online in the U.S. Ulta Beauty, and Walmart, earned 50 million dollars in annual retail sales.

Scarlett Johansson | Skincare products and Cosmetics business: The Outset

The Outset, a clean skincare, is both skin-friendly and environmentally friendly founded by the world-renowned actress, Scarlett Johansson who has a strong passion for skin care and led to the skincare product with the ingredient called Hyaluroset Complex. The Avaline brand was created to produce 100% organic wine. It has no additives, flavoring substances, or dyes and labels identify ingredients and nutritional information clearly.

In a few years, Avaline has become the second organic wine brand in U.S. retail sales and number one in the premium organic price category (14 – 19.99 dollars). Reports say the organic wine brand initially launched 25,000 boxes but now sells nearly 150,000 boxes a year, with sales revenue increased 97% year-on-year in the retail sector.
