How to answer to win the interviewer’s heart during a Job interview. 

It is believed that after New Year, many people would like to change their job, find a new job or some may have just graduated from University and have zero experience in Job interview. Today, ACU has some tips for you about the question used in a job interview and a way of answering questions, including personality and dressing which will be the first thing the interviewer notices in the interview.

Job interview is the same as selling an item to a buyer, which is selling your skill and identity through answering questions used in the job interview. Thus, you need to study about the place you are going to work with as well as the job you are applying for. Let’s take a look at popular questions used in Job Interview.

1. Introduce yourself

An open-ended question for you to fully present their identity. You as the interviewee will get the advantage in this question because the answer is about yourself. Thus, you should know yourself and be able to tell your story very well. You may start by telling your name-surname, nickname, your study history and your job experience. If you have just graduated, you can talk about your internship or activity you have done in the university.

2. Why did you quit your former company?

Anyone with work experience must have faced this question. A simple tip is telling the truth, but you must make sure that your answer will not damage or tell the disadvantagement of the former company. The interviewer might think that you disclose some inappropriate information. If you are not satisfied with something about your old company, you might come up with another reason such as you want to experience something new or you want to improve your skill in that aspect. 

3. What do you know about the company?

This question will show your effort in studying the company information. You should study the details of the new company. At least, you should know about what business the company operates and how long the company has been established.

4. Your strengths and weaknesses

You should find your strengths which are related to your job field and find the weakness that you want to improve to show that you are ready to improve and learn and you can develop your strength as well. 

5. What is your plan for the future?

Tell your plan frankly such as your plan for the next 5 years is to have a sum of saving to build a house or you will be a business owner in the next 5 years.
