1.Get yourself out of the building as fast as possible

2. Hide yourself in a strong shelter

 If an earthquake strikes, stay calm and find something strong to be used as a shelter for yourself such as a strong table. This is suitable for a situation where an earthquake is not that severe. It will prevent you from getting injured from falling lamps or vases.

3. Stop driving

If you are driving while the earthquake occurs, stop driving and get out of the car until the earthquake stops. You have to be more careful if you are in an area that has traffic lights, bridges or other hanging things.

4. No candle or matches

Because it can cause sparks at any time, if there’s a gas leak in that area unknowingly, it’s better to protect yourself.

5. Cover your head with pillow if you lying on bed

While asleep and when the earthquake strikes, grab a pillow close to your body to protect your head. It is recommended that you should cover your head with one or two pillows in case something falls off.

6. Be careful of After Shock

Even if the earthquake has stopped, there may be aftershocks following it all the time. You must be extra conscious and careful.
