Free Medical Check-up from Social Securities. What can be checked-up?

Insured people who submit social security every month may already know what types of medical check-ups can be checked. For example, rights to treatment in case of illness, childbirth, disability, death, child support, unemployment, old age and dental. Today we are going to study medical check-ups in-depth.

General Check-ups

  • Finger Rub Test Hearing Screening for people who are 15 years old or older 1 time per year
  • Breast examination by a doctor or public health personnel. People who are 30-39 years old can be checked every 3 years, 40-45 can be checked every year and 55 years old or older can be checked depending on appropriation. 
  • An eye exam by Snellen eye Chart

Laboratory examination

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC) for people who are 18-57 years old 1 time per year.
  • Urine Analysis (UA) for people who are older than 55 years old 1 time per year

Blood Chemistry Screen

  • Fasting Blood Sugar. For people who are 35 – 54 years old can be checked every 3 year and those who are 55 years old or older can be checked every years
  • Renal function test (Cr) for people who are 55 years old or older.
  • Fat in blood vessels exam for both Total Cholesterol & HDL for people who are 20 years old or older and they can be checked every 5 years.

Others

  • Hepatitis B Surface Antigen for people who were born before 1992 can be checked 1 time per year
  • Cervical Cancer by Pap Smear. People who are 30-54 years old can be checked every 3 years and people who are 55 years old or older can be checked every year.
  • Cervical Cancer by Via. For people who are 30-54 years old can be checked every 5 years. Pap Smear is recommended for people who are 55 years old or older. 
  • Fecal Occult Blood Test (FOBP) for people who are 50 years old or older can be checked 1 time per year. 
  • Chest X-ray for people who are 15 years old or older 1 time a year.
