Thailand Elite or Elite Card is a card owned by the Thai government under the supervision of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). It is designed to attract foreigners such as tourists, businessmen, investors, or those who want to take long-term vacations in Thailand to stay in Thailand for up to 5 to 20 years with many privileges. It is a visa created to help stimulate the domestic economy.
There are 7 types of Elite Card packages
Privileges vary depending on the price level. Membership fees range from 500,000 baht to 2 million baht, which will be given VIP privileges whether it is privileged for entry through special channels, airport lounges, airport service, golf, spas, limousines, hotels, restaurants, department stores, and leading hospitals, including driver’s licenses, opening bank accounts, and doing business in Thailand. It can be divided into 7 categories as follows;
This type of card will get a 5-year visa with an application fee of 600,000 baht. It is suitable for those who visit Thailand frequently for business or leisure. They will be provided with airport limousine service 24 times a year, a special channel for immigration and access to the special airport lounge, a driver’s license, bank account opening, and other privileges.
This type of card will be granted a 5-year visa and can be renewed for one year per operation, with an application fee of 1,000,000 baht. The membership card will be valid for 10 years. Travel to and from Thailand will be welcomed like VIPs, airport limousine service 18 times a year, as well as facilitating driver’s licenses, opening bank accounts, and doing business in Thailand and other privileges.
Members will receive a 5-year-old visa that can be extended for one year per operation. They must report on staying in the Kingdom of Thailand for 90 days. The membership card is 20 years old with an application fee of 1,000,000 million baht. VIP hospitality and personal assistant, facilitating driver’s licenses, opening bank accounts, doing business in Thailand, and many other special privileges.
A 5-year-old visa can be extended for one year and must be reported to the Kingdom of Thailand for 90 days. The membership card will be 20 years old with an application fee of 2,000,000 million baht. Privileges: VIP reception, personal assistants, fast-track immigration access, the convenience of a driver’s license, opening bank accounts and doing business in Thailand as well as free golf course fees 24 times a year and others.
It is a family-friendly card with an application fee of 800,000 Baht and an additional membership fee of 700,000 Baht per person. The visa is valid for 5 years and can be extended for 1 year. Privileges to be received are VIP hospitality in and out of Thailand, facility for driver’s licenses, including opening bank accounts and doing business in Thailand, but must report on staying in the Kingdom of Thailand for more than 90 days, and other discount privileges.
This card requires at least two members, with a 5-year membership fee of 800,000 Baht. If they want to add more members they need to pay an additional fee of 300,000 baht per member, and they will be entitled to a five-year visa extension and a renewal for 1 year. They will get a driver’s license, open a bank account, and do business in Thailand but need to report for more than 90 days staying in Thailand Kingdom. There are also four airport and short-term accommodation limousines per year and special discounts on various products.
This card will be eligible for a 5-year visa with a 1-year extension with an application fee of approximately 1,000,000 million baht. There is 1 time transfer right to another but needs to be a family member only. The transfer fee is 20% of the exchange rate and 10,000 baht of fee. The cardholders must report every 90 days, which will be facilitated in making a driver’s license, opening a bank account and conducting business in Thailand as well as other privileges.
