Library, the place that is packed with various types of knowledge. Many people are bored of reading, doing homework and chores at home and want to go outside to experience a new environment. However, do you know that Thailand has a financial library which is a specific source of information about finance for people provided by the Public Sector and the Private Sector.
It is a special library that serves internal employees and ordinary people with information focusing on economics, finance, banking, the Bank of Thailand’s information, and information from central banks around the world. It was established in 1946, according to Prince Vivadhanajaya’s personal book who was the first governor of the Bank of Thailand in 1953. Later on, the library was started in full operation. There are librarians who work in the library. Work has been improved through various periods until now.

Dress: Dress modestly
Used documents: For individuals, show their ID cards, civil servants’ cards, state enterprise employees or student cards before entering the building in accordance with the Bank of Thailand’s regulations.

It was established in 1975 to provide financial market and investment information to professionals in securities businesses, listed companies and capital market personnel. Later in 2004, SET improved the appearance of the library to be “Living Library” and changed its name to “Maruey Library” in honor of Dr. Maruey Padungsit, the 5th President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Its main focus is to be an innovative and integrated financial and investment learning resource covering a wide range of financial contents such as equity, bond and derivatives, including types of investment innovations. Its design and services represent Modern Library & Living Library to encourage new generations to enjoy self-learning through a variety of learning media. For example, books, magazines,and newspapers. It can be both in paper and electronic, such as eBooks, eMagazines, eJournals, eNewspaper, Audio Books, Podcasts and knowledge clips.
There are activities that provide various knowledge all year round. To fulfill knowledge learning in saving, investment and the development of the quality of life and society without any cost.
